Robin and Hazel, two retired nuclear scientists, live a quiet existence in their isolated cottage on the coast, until old friend and colleague Rose arrives on their doorstep. As the three reminisce on their past lives, secrets and simmering love affairs begin to resurface, as Rose makes a frightening proposal for their future.
