ONCE-IN-A-GENERATION CHANCE TO SEE TIM WINTON’S AWARD-WINNING NOVEL ON STAGE

Follow the lives of two families, the Lambs and the Pickles, over two decades in post-war Perth. Together they share an old house at number one Cloud Street haunted by a dark history. Cloudstreet is packed full of heart and hardship.

The Lambs and the Pickles aren’t your average counter lunch. While the feckless Pickles love drinking and betting, the Lambs are God-fearing and hard-working. Over the years their lives become entwined in ways they couldn’t have imagined.

After breaking box office records in Melbourne, we are proud to bring this epic new production of Cloudstreet home – a story born of our city. Directed by Perth born-and-raised Matthew Lutton, with a cast of 12, including Bert LaBonté (Book of Mormon), Alison Whyte (Seachange, Frontline) and Arielle Gray (Picnic at Hanging Rock) this re-imagined epic experience will be the Perth Festival highlight of 2020.

Cloudstreet was first commissioned by Black Swan State Theatre Company and Company B Belvoir in 1998, winning two Helpmann Awards.
